BCTF Disability Justice Summit 2025 – Call for Applications

🕒 Application Deadline: March 10, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. (Late applications will not be accepted)

The BC Teachers’ Federation (BCTF) is committed to fostering an equitable and inclusive union. As part of this ongoing effort, the BCTF Disability Justice Summit 2025 will provide an opportunity for members who identify as persons with disabilities and/or neurodiverse to connect, build relationships, and strengthen advocacy.

About the Summit

This session aims to:
✅ Strengthen connections among BCTF members with disabilities
✅ Build relationships, capacity, and community
✅ Foster leadership and engagement within the union

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for this summit, applicants must:
✔️ Be an active BCTF member
✔️ Teach in Grades K–12
✔️ Contribute to a diverse representation across gender, regions, and equity-seeking groups
✔️ Priority will be given to new teachers and members new to union engagement
