We have recently learned of multiple challenges related to our extended health benefits, including unexpected denials and significant delays in processing benefit claims. These issues are not only frustrating but also create unnecessary work and stress for our members.
We’ve heard from members about various difficulties, including:
- Knee brace claims denied multiple times.
- Invisalign and dental crowns being denied or not covered.
- Eye exams inconsistently covered, with some approvals only after resubmission.
- Counseling bills pending for months without resolution.
To address these concerns effectively, we need your input.
