Provincial Ratification voting information for members

Dear Colleague,

The ratification vote for the tentative agreement between BCTF and our employer will be held from March 2 to March 4 across the Province.  The VTA will be running our local vote through Simply Voting with BCTF support.  You will receive an email with more details in the coming weeks.

Please take the time to watch the recording of the town hall on the BCTF website: Bargaining Updates and Information webpage. You need to be logged in to see this content. Please remember that these documents are confidential and should not be shared publicly.

How to VOTE!

All members will receive an email with their ballot information from Simply Voting on the evening of Sunday, March 1.

That email will contain their personalized link to their Simply Voting ballot. Online voting starts at 12:01 a.m. PST, March 2, and ends at 6:00 p.m. PST, March 4. Members can vote at any time during these hours. As the vote is supported by Simply Voting, there is no need for members to log in to the BCTF website to cast their vote.

If members cannot find their Simply Voting link by 12:00 p.m. PST, on Monday, March 2, they should follow these steps:

  1. Search their inbox for the term simplyvoting.
  2. Check their junk mail folder.
  3. Email votesupport@bctf.ca. That email will be additionally staffed during the vote period to ensure all members can be responded to.
