On Feb 26th, the BCTF is offering an online New Teachers Conference. The registration fee is only $25! The District PD committee has committed a total of $2000 to support new teachers who are interested in attending.
If the teacher is in a contract, they can apply for an Ed Leave to have a paid leave for that conference day.
Interested teachers should contact Lisa LaBoucane BY FEB 5th at pdchair@vernonta.com. Depending on the number of applicants, we will make a decision as to who will be funded by the VTA.
