TTOC & New Teachers

The District PD committee has established a New Teacher Grant of $2000 for the 2020-2021 school year. This is for any teacher who has 5 years or less teaching experience in BC, or any teacher who is new to their role. If you have used all of your individual school PD funds then you can apply for additional funds to supplement your PD expenses this year. There is no guaranteed amount; the amount you receive is a function of the number of applicants and the amounts claimed.

The criteria for applying are:

• Must have used all school based PD funds first
• Please include this year’s funds (This must be indicated on the claim form)
• Signed off by school PD Rep
• Submitted to the VTA Office by May 30th, 2021
