The BCTF will host its last New Teachers’ Zoom Gathering (NTZG) on Wednesday June 23, 2021. Last fall, we were shocked by a video of a Trans student being physically assaulted on school property in BC. This last NTZG will give new teachers an opportunity to reflect and share thoughts and concrete ways to make our schools and classrooms welcoming places for all children. Two of our members, Alex Perl and Eliot Fox-Povey, will facilitate the conversation with our newer members.
This free event will take place from 3:30pm to 4:30pm. All teachers will less than 5 years of teaching experience are invited. We hope to see as many new teachers as possible attend this warm and informal gathering. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER!
